The Mother Founder Movement (MFM) is a Canadian community for mothers who run businesses, started by Bowda's founder after she became one. It runs local meetups, a national directory of mother-founded businesses, a fund for pregnant/postpartum founders, and a small line of products, from clothing to a children's book. The point is visibility. Mother founders are a serious part of the economy and almost invisible in the story that gets told about entrepreneurship. MFM exists to fix that.
Because when more people can see themselves represented, more people can imagine what's possible.
