Parenting Through Connection was created by Megan Lachance, a parenting coach whose work is rooted in neuroscience, emotional regulation, and real-life parenting experience. She helps caregivers move away from quick-fix discipline and toward a deeper understanding of what is actually happening for their kids, and for themselves, so families can move from overwhelm to connection.
As her business grew, her brand and website stopped reflecting the depth of her expertise, the warmth of her approach, or the growing range of support she offers. There was a lot of heart in the work, and a lot of science behind it, and none of that was coming through.
The challenge was never just a new website. It was building a digital home that feels as safe, supportive, and grounded as the work itself. We partnered with Megan to create a complete brand strategy, visual identity, messaging framework, and website experience designed to help parents feel seen, understood, and supported from their very first interaction with the brand

We started with strategy, not design. Before a single colour or font was chosen, we got clear on who Parenting Through Connection serves, what makes the work different, and how it should feel to land on the brand for the first time. Those foundations became the filter for every decision that followed.
From there we built a complete identity designed to balance two things that usually pull in opposite directions: emotional safety and professional credibility. The system is warm without being precious. It is calm, accessible, and grounded, with enough structure to communicate clarity and trust. A big part of that warmth lives in the details. Rather than reach for stock icons or a generic library, our creative director hand illustrated every element of the brand, including the logo and the full icon set. There is a human quality to a hand-drawn mark that you cannot fake with a template, and for a brand about connection, that mattered. Every line on the page was made by a person, for people.
